About Brett Tollman
A tourism and hospitality professional with significant experience in the global travel & tourism industry, Brett Tollman continues to try and make an impact on the sector through his lifetime of commitment to the sustainable growth and development of travel.
With over 30 years of experience as a travel and hotel executive, Brett is CEO of The Travel Corporation (TTC.com), a privately held travel and hotel company operating on every continent across the globe. Well diversified and entrepreneurially run, The Travel Corporation serves almost two million travelers per year across its rich portfolio of over 25 brands including: specialists in guided holidays and escorted journeys (Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Brendan Vacations, AAT Kings, Inspiring Journeys and Aussie Adventures); luxury river cruising (Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection); independent travel specialists (Adventure World, Brendan Vacations, African Travel, Lion World Travel and an affiliated company, Wilderness Safaris); youth travel specialists (Contiki Holidays, Busabout, Haggis Adventures, and Shamrocker Adventures); sightseeing specialists (Evan Evans Tours and AAT Kings). In addition, The Travel Corporation holds a majority shareholding in Cullinan Holdings, a South African-based travel, marine and financing company. The TreadRight Foundation has become an example for the travel and tourism industry through its ability to do things right by doing the right thing.
A tourism leader passionate about the exceptionally positive impact that tourism has on nations across the globe, socially and economically, Brett’s commitment to travel and tourism is also extended through his position as Vice Chairman of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), and supported by his international academic qualifications that include a BS degree from Cornell University. He was also included in the recent publication of the book “I am Eco-Warrior” by Roger Moenks (www.IamEcoWarrior.com) – A collection of conversations with more than 53 global game-changers who address the environmental crisis in innovative and groundbreaking ways.
